About Us
At Napoli Health and Wellness we think about health differently. We don’t treat diseases. We never have. We treat the body to allow it to heal itself. This may sound the same, but it’s not. The healthy human body is designed to be an amazing self-maintaining, self-regulating and self-healing organism. When your body has all of the raw materials it needs, it remains remarkably resilient, able to handle the stresses and challenges life presents.

Recent studies conclusively show that most Americans are lacking in many essential nutrients. When you are unhealthy, your body hasn’t forgotten how to work. In most cases, nutrient deficiencies, biochemical imbalances, poor detoxification, or exposure to environmental toxins have overwhelmed the body’s natural ability to keep everything working and in balance. Often chronic illness is the result. When you give the body the tools it needs in the form of nutrients, vitamins, minerals and healthful foods, it can put those to work and systems start to come on line again. (Many times in dramatic fashion.)
Clinical nutrition is the study of the relationship between food, nutrients, and the well being of the body. It is the biochemical science of nutrients and how they are digested, absorbed, transported, metabolized, stored, and discharged by the body. Clinical nutritionists pay very close attention to the fundamental workings of the body tissues and how they work together.
A Board Certified Clinical Nutritionist trains through years of study in physiology, organic chemistry, biochemistry, orthomolecular biology, and human nutrition. They must then pass the nationally recognized board certification examination given by the CNCB (www.CNCB.org), and undergo recertification every 5 years.
When you meet with Dr. Napoli he will take a comprehensive health history about your diet, lifestyle, family history, health concerns and a complete symptom survey. If available, blood tests will be reviewed and specialized lab tests can be ordered. He will then apply this knowledge to analyze why you’re not feeling well and establish a personalized action plan specifically for you. (This will be presented on the first follow-up visit.)
He may recommend simple dietary or lifestyle changes, nutritional programs, or supplements to correct nutritional deficiencies or imbalances in your body chemistry. Of course, if necessary he will refer you to a physician.
Anyone who wants to be as healthy as they can be. Some patients come in because they are dealing with certain conditions, some come in to stay well and to promote healthy aging. While Dr. Napoli doesn’t treat diseases, he does see patients with a variety of health issues. He sees patients concerned with:
- digestive issues such as reflux, ulcers, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), colitis, constipation
- Celiac disease or food sensitivities
- high cholesterol
- diabetes or pre-diabetes
- fatigue
- cancer
- autoimmune diseases,
- ADD/ADHD
- recurrent colds or infections
- anxiety, depression
- weight issues
- acne or skin issues
- menopausal difficulties or PMS
- prostate symptoms
Most of the recommendations he makes serve to complement any current medical treatment, while addressing the initial cause, helping the body to get itself well. At times, the results are astounding, leading to quicker recoveries.
Please Remember…
When you’re truly healthy, you feel it. You wake up feeling physically and emotionally vibrant and positive, ready to face the day. Others can see it too! If you don’t feel that way something is wrong and you can do something about it. Don’t live with it. Take control and seize the day.
